Hey there,
So Axel Rose has been a very healthy axie but 2 days ago he vomited all of the earthworm I fed him, which he has never done. His tank is usually around 65 F with the help of a fan and ice bottle since I live in the US South. Its been a little too cold however so Ive turned off the fan and removed ice since it was around 58 at night. Now its around 60-63. I dont know if this up and down temp is the cause or not. I just did a 50% water change and cleaned everything, which I do about once a month and weekly 20% water change. He has a cannister filter with a flow blocker on it. He has large glass pebbles as subtrate, moss balls, and large rocks in his tank but nothing else. Hes been fairly lethargic, which I assumed was temp drop but now hes started floating a little like hes constipated?? I thought low temps would help that, but maybe he swallowed air while regurgitating?? I havent tried to feed him again, I usually feed him 1 earthworm (theyre huge!) Chopped into small pieces by feeding tongs.
