Water color

Hi, I have had my FBN set-up for a while now, and the water has been crystal clear. I have not changed harldy anything at all, but all the sudden the water color is getting real murkey. Even after I do half or even full water changes, it goes right back to murkey. Any ideas!? This is probably an un-aswerable question. But any info would help.

Mark, Im glad you took my advice on coming to this website, There is a lot of good info...I dont really know about that...What do you mean by murky...There is a murky where it looks as if stuff is floating in the water...Like a colloid or Heterogenous mixture...Or is it like blackwater...Which typically is murky because of Drift Wood Leaching into the water...

Hey, sorry, do you mind me asking who you are, or where I would know you from? The water is foggy, and not clear. It is not really foggy, but just a little. Thanks

Okay, so the water is "cloudy" thats the right word for it. Any cures besides water changes?

Mark, filtration is an option, How long has the tank been set up...Mark, Im the kid who suggested that you come to the website...

Just being patient is the best thing. If you are really concerned, get a water test done for ammonia, nitrite, and nitrate. In new tanks bacterial bloom can happen during the early stages.

Yea, it is starting to clear up. I was going to be "patient" but I just thought I would ask you guys just incase I was doing something wrong or something. Its all good now! The tank has been setup for 2 years, but I had recently rearanged, and I dont have filtration, except for a small waterfall pump. But it is all good now!
