Water Dog Metamorphosis

My water dog is changing his pattern to a new one he is still eating and stuff does it mean he is evolving? HIis pattern is becoming like an evolved tiger sal butt not all of him an no yellow

It means it´s undergoing metamorphosis. Saying that it is evolving is likely to produce a great deal of confussion. Yes, it is changing over time, but this has nothing to do with biological evolution.
The yellow takes some time to appear, and sometimes there´s no hint of it well after the metamorphosis has been completed and the animal is fully terrestrial.
