I wasn't sure where to post this so I apologise beforehand.

I'm new to the community and I've been caring for my axie for around a month. I read around that they don't like strong water currents but I'm not really sure how should I measure that sort of thing.

Any tips? Thanks.

They'll let you know.

It's an individual preference for axolotls, I think. Some don't seem to mind at all. The easiest way of checking is by trial and error: put the filter on, leave it on for a day or two. See if you spot any signs of stress, changed behaviour, restlessness or hiding more often. If so, lower the filter output, leave it like that for a day or two, see if you spot any changes.
Repeat until you have a current they seem OK with.

It's not the most scientific method, but it works!

Thank you! I'll try it out.
