Hi. i just found that my axo water is smell like plastic and realize that's coming from the freezing chiller pipe (I use household transparent flexible pipe)
I already move him safely and now searching for proper flexible pipe which can use for cold water. I keep a lot of tropical FW fish and do not use chiller.
Please suggest what brand and what material should i use? is aquarium flex pipe like "*heim or *ebo" is ok?

thank you and appreciate your help;)

As long as the pipe is "food safe" or specifically made for tropical fish it should be o.k. Flushing it a couple times or doing water changes couldn't hurt.

Thx Michael, I just bought jebo flexible pipe and preparing to install it. Thanks a lot

with axolotls would I basically have to keep buying and buying new axolotls to prevent inbred breeding which costs a lot of money??

Not necessarily but if you’re wanting to continue to grow your breeding capacity then yes. Breeding axolotls isn’t a cheap hobby nor is it a get rich quick scheme. It costs a lot of money and time and deditcation

Would Chinese fire belly newts be more or less inclined towards an aquatic eft set up versus Japanese . I'm raising them and have abandoned the terrarium at about 5 months old and switched to the aquatic setups you describe. I'm wondering if I could do this as soon as they morph?
