I recently sold a couple of axolotls which were in good health but been told by new owners that they are having issues and axolotls are stressed and not happy.
I have ruled out most of the usual water quality issues like amonia, ph etc etc.

The symptoms of their axolotls is: very red gills, slightly curled gills and gills look like they are breathing a lot (ie..moving a lot).
Personally i do not think its a big issue but they seem concerned and getting in a panic so thought I would post here and get comments.
The axolotls are 9 month old.

I asked for their water supply info and its completely different from mine so was wondering if water supply issues may be the problem.

Here is their water supply quality screenshots.
the one that has hardness as very soft was my water supply and theirs is the one listed as calcium 3.97

Both of those water reports show soft water - mine is 16.6.

Try adding Holtfreter's salts to bring the hardness up to around 10 or more. Soft water can cause anaemia.
