I decided after my current nitrite test kit emptied I may as well get a test kit. I researched , I studied prices on line and ended up on ebay where I found a api test kit. I bid on the item, and when checking my bid I realised it was a marine test kit, instead of a fresh water one. Needless to say I won the item.
My question is will any of the tests be suitable for use on fresh water ?
Thanks in advance.

All the tests should work for reading freshwater. The only problem will be the reference card that comes with it will have colors that don't match freshwater and the kit will only have high range pH. If you used API test kits in the past just keep the old reference cards and you will be good. Otherwise you may be able to have API mail you a set of the reference cards.
