Way too many snails!

I had a few apple snails in a tank that hitched a ride with a few much larger snails. They bred like crazy and now I have over a hundred or so in a seperate setup. I don't what to do with them now. They are pretty cool but I don't want thousands of them. Aside from killing them which seems harsh, what can I do? My newts may eat them, but If they don't the population in that tank too. They are the size of an eraser at largest, most the size of
the head of a pin. If some one wants them tell me and I will see what I can do get them to whoever wants them.
