Please help me my little friend webster has got gill fungus.
i went to school yesterday and he was fine but when i got home he had a big fungus on one gill on the right side and a small fungus on his left gill. i put him in the fridge and gave him a saltbath right away. my fridge temperature is 7 degrees celcius. he hasnt eaten in 5 days but now he is in the fridge he is moving around and looks alot happier now. i shall keep up the salt baths for another week or 2 and i will keep him away from my other axie for a month. thanks any help would be really good.

Just keep doing what you are doing now and hopefully the fungus will die. Good luck.

Just remember this. After the fungus is gone, keep up the salt baths for 3-7 days to make sure that it is gone and won't come back. Also if you have a steady hand, get some small or thin tweezers and try to remove some fungus trying not to get your axies gills

is that fungus? looks like a cube of tublex worm to me

. Anyway...if your parents don't like axies in the fridge. put it in an ice-cream box , close the lid and put a plant in it. Also.. put a note on top saying "DONT TOUCH IT"S NOT ICE CREAM"

Our new Axy - Charlie has white flesh eating stuff on her little toes. It seems to remove the skin and leave the bone, which soon after disappears... Unfortunately it has completely taken the toes off. We have been giving her salt baths for the past three days, twice a day to no avail. We've noticed some on her gills. So Charlie is in the fridge hopefully making a full recovery. We have heard about some antiseptics that you can apply directly but are unsure about this procedure. Any advise would be greatly appreciated as we are new at this and want the best for our baby dragons!

Hi everyone, regarding the salt baths, is rock salt the same as sea salt? the pet store gave me rock salt they said that's what they use, but they don't seem to know to much about axies. Thank you.
