I got the Java fern a long time ago, around December to be exact. Recently it's been having really weird growth at the tips of the plant. I thought at first it was old bloodworms but when I go to suck it up they were attached to plant and when I pulled it off some of the plant ripped. What is this stuff? Is it harmful to my Axolotl? I have a picture below

Any advice is appreciated Thank you

No need for concern. I've had many Java ferns in my tanks. Yours is simply growing roots in the leaves. It's a baby Java fern.

I concur with NaterPotater, Java Ferns all produce little java ferns on the end or middle of their leaves, its nothing to worry about, you'll have a number of new java ferns soon!

That's good to hear! Thank you I was worried it was bacteria or something.
