Hi everyone.

So im thinking of purchasing these two little guys. I think one is a boy the other is a girl but not sure i would love to get your opinions. The other question I have is what type is the beige one?

I can't tell from the photo. I suspect they might be too young to sex anyway. It's possible that the light gray one might be a pale grey melanoid.

They don't look very big - do you know how old or how big they are? The 'beige' one could be a grey melanoid, or it could be leucistic, the picture isn't clear.

They are about a year old I'll post more pics as soon as I get my hands on these babies :)

    Not necessarily but if you’re wanting to continue to grow your breeding capacity then yes. Breeding axolotls isn’t a cheap hobby nor is it a get rich quick scheme. It costs a lot of money and time and deditcation

    Would Chinese fire belly newts be more or less inclined towards an aquatic eft set up versus Japanese . I'm raising them and have abandoned the terrarium at about 5 months old and switched to the aquatic setups you describe. I'm wondering if I could do this as soon as they morph?
