I'm new when it comes to axolotls, and I'm hoping to soon own a few. I've done a TON of research about axies so i know what they eat and such but i wanted to hear from you guys. What do you feed your axolotls? Do you give them a variety of different foods?

I've heard to feed them frozen bloodworms, brine shrimp, and pellets.

I feed mine cheeseburgers and ice cream.

Just kidding, frozen blood worms, pellets, live feeder fish, live shrimp... Mine don't mess with pellets much.. The smaller ones sometimes need visual stimulation from fish and whatnot.

Earthworms are the most nutritious food to give an axolotl.

Mine loves nightcrawlers but has also had the occasional glass worm.

Mine love canadian earthworms and the occasional frozen blood worm cubes.

Earthworms, earthworms and more earthworms. They are very nutritional and my axolotls are thriving on them. They also have the benefit of not being messy and if you start your own worm farm they are very cheap :)

Live worms are the best. My wildtype eats anything and everything, she happily eats large , cut in half nightcrawlers in seconds. My golden albino is a more sensitive soul, although the same size as wildtype, and will only eat little worms about an inch long and wont eat them if i cut them up (im guessing as they start releasing horrible tasting stuff).
So worms and occasionally frozen blood worms and shrimp
