I bought my newt 6 years ago as a 'Chinese Firbelly Newt' but we all know how reliablke the names at petstores are. Once a store try to sell me a pladdletail and said it was a c/o. My friend is positive his newt is a chinese firebelly and his newts are about 5 and only 2 inches long. My 'Chinese Firebelly' is 4 to 5 inches long. He is hiding in his bush so I can't get pictures. He has the orange belly with black spots. When he poses for his close up I will post the pic. By for now
