What should I replace my clear bottom tank with?

So my Axolotl doesn't seem to like a clear bottom, so what should I replace it with? Granite aint good cause, I heard Axolotls tend to eat that which causes digestive problems, which is why I went with a clear bottom

Axolotl are fine on a bare bottom, as long as you wipe it a couple times a week to prevent a bacterial build up. Sand is an alternate, just make sure its prewashed other wise its a pain to wash yourself.
