My Axolotl babies are nearly 2 weeks old. They look like they have white shiny eyes and some look like they have non. Some of my babys seem all white were as some have either a yellowish or greyish very light diamond on their heads that follow down there back if that helps  . I have attached some pics. Sorry about the poor quality of the pics but can anyone please make out what they could be thanx much appreciated :))

I haven't got any pics yet but I also have white babies with black eyes with just a few black freckles on their heads (like a dalmatian dog will less spots lol ) any ideas what they could be ?

Can't tell from those photos, but from your descriptions it sounds like you have a mix of albinos and wilds.

Thankyou I will try and post better pics

Would Chinese fire belly newts be more or less inclined towards an aquatic eft set up versus Japanese . I'm raising them and have abandoned the terrarium at about 5 months old and switched to the aquatic setups you describe. I'm wondering if I could do this as soon as they morph?
