Whats this on my elodea? A bud?

I've noticed that one of the new shoots of elodea growing is whitish yellow. Is this a flower bud or an albino or something??

Probably just a dying leaf. That's what it looks like.

Hmm.

I didn't think of that, but it seems to be growing larger everyday, I'll check on it more often to check on the progress.
