Growing up in northern ny we didn't have a whole lot of lizards to go out and catch. Maybe a few snake every year, but what we did have were loads of newts. Especially easterns. You couldn't walk a mile without finding a half dozen of them.
Anyway, I'm more of a reptile enthusiast, but frogs and Sal's are my childhood. Currently living in the Toledo area of Ohio. Breeding leopard geckos and raising some red efts. Also have a male Australian water dragon and I'm trying to find him a girlfriend, so if you've got one by some crazy chance, let me know.
