My axie is about 6" long and is about 5.5 to 6 months old. He's chubby too since he's a dwarf. Is the big enough and old enough to cut back to every other day feedings? If so, when can I cut to every 3 days?

I'm thinking 1 and a half night crawlers in the day then the other half plus a cube of blood worms over night. Then skip a day and night. Is this enough?

The only one that can "really" answer that question, is your axolotl.

Every axie is different, just like every person is different.

Oh. Well.....I don't know then. I'm sure he would eat every day but I know there's a point to where people cut back on feeding.

Sometimes it's a case of getting to know your axie and what is normal for them.
Out of my gang most of them like to eat every day. Mr Pringles does not eat every day, and eats slightly less than the others even when he does eat. Chunky Monkey would eat until sick, if allowed to do so, so I feed him the same amount as his tank mates, even though he begs for more. The rest of the gang are somewhere in the middle. They are all quite well built and around 9-10 months old (possibly), and I started moving them to feeding every other day around a month ago, but don't strictly stick to it. :D

So I shoukd keep doing daily then. I'm doing about 1 night crawler per day and blood worms overnight.

That sounds about right for a growing axie. :)
