I think live green frogs would be a better choice. They aren't as big of a predator threat as bullfrogs. Bullfrogs often run away and play havoc on the local ecosystem. The closest to being ecologically correct would be to collect some local tadpoles or frogs if your state regulations allow it.
A hundred times better than buying frogs is to let the local frog population colonize your new man made pond. Try checking out Operation Frog Pond for some advice. No matter what species of frog you choose to buy there is still a risk of negatively impacting local frog populations by their introduction, even if they are a local species.
