White axie turned pink and strage behaviour

Casey, do you know which chiller you are going to get? I'm researching them at the moment too because I'm in Brisbane and its pretty hot up here!

I'd love to hear if you know of any good brands etc. I know they're really expensive but I'm not home much either so ice bottles aren't really an option.

If I cant find a good chiller I might mount a couple of cpu fans above my tank and see if that brings the temp down significantly. At the moment I just use a standing fan and its working okay, but its only going to get hotter as summer goes along!
 
hey guys, i was searching on ebay for fish tanks and theres a few chillers under 'fish tanks' and their about $500 ea i think... hope that heaps

You might want to take a look at this site. I know what you mean about the hot weather. Im in Sydney and I only got my axie yesterday, and typically the temp got to 27 outside just as we got him home, so I had fans going all night cause I cant afford a chiller.

I've also been looking at chillers as Sydney is really hot at the moment and I'm having to pack the outside of little dude's tank with ice packs!! It's especially hot in the western region where I live and it's only going to get hotter! The cheapest I've come across so far has been about $549 on ebay...

Let me know how you go.
