Hey can anyone tell me what the little white flicks, really tiny white strands smaller then 0.5 of a mm which occour all over the sides of my tank? I have also notices 2 tiny tiny snails creepting around, could they of come with some live food or a plant??

On closer inspection of these "white flecks" they seem to be tiny worms of some sort I mean realy realy realy tiny but they do move. Help! I hope their not harmfull but there is loads and when I cleab my tank they just come back!!!!

Paul they could be baby snails.

If they look like small white worms then those are usually planaria.

Read about them here http://www.aquariumfish.net/information/having_trouble_p2.htm

There have been other threads on caudata about planaria as well. You might want to do a search for "planaira" in the axolotl posts.

I would not worry too much about planaria, just perhaps remove all uneaten food sooner and keep up on your weekly tank maintenance.
