White chunk in gill ... please help

Came back from Christmas with my family and found a large white mass on the top of one of my axolotls gills. Looks like a piece of a pellet landed on her gill almost. Please help.

How is this one going? Hard to tell from the pic but if it is fluffy it may be fungus. Daily salt baths should help if the issue is still there.
