Hi all,
For 5 or 6 weeks, my three juvenile axolotls have been living happily (=with proper Ammonnia/Nitrite/Nitrate levels) in their tank.
Until 2 days ago - my cycle crashed. Ammonia levels got super high (can't remember the number; the darkest green in the API check), and I immediately did a full water change.
Since then, Ammonia/Nitrite/Nitrate are back to normal levels, but I have noticed some white flaking on my two albino axolotl's gills (though they aren't showing signs of sluggishness, in fact getting these photos was quite hard since they kept swimming around):

Note, though, that my non-albino Axy isn't showing any white flakes (as far as I can tell):

I feel terrible about exposing my axys to the cycle crash, and now I'm worried that they're sick...
Are they?
What can I do?
