I’ve had my tank established for probably close to 2 months now. Never been too many issues, but today there was a spike in ammonia, so I decided to tub my axie immediately and change the water. While I was doing so, I went to move his cave to clean, and when I picked it up the turbulence caused the substrate to move around, and immediately I saw small little particulates. I waited for the water to settle, and now they’re all over the substrate. Is this bad for my axolotl? And should I remove the substrate?

As an immediate update, so after I wrote that out, I looked at it, and i could visibly see a thin white film over the substrate. Kinda concerned about having to clean all that out
