White Spot On Gill

Hi,

Im really hoping someone has an answer to this one. Ive just noticed that our axolotl has developed a white spot on one of his gills (near the top).

We havent been doing anything differently and it only seems to have appeared in the last day.

What is it? And what should I do?

maybe fungus - in which case salt baths - check all the other entries on fungus for descriptions and details of treatment - or post a picture and the experts here will probably figure it out for you. This site has to have the most helpful people in the world
