Hey there
i just noticed today that my axie has some little white spots on him?? ive attached an image of them. the little black spots u see in the pic are on the tank, im not sure what they are but theyve been there for a while and i think its fine, hopefully

the tanks temp is a little bit high (22c) as its summer but im doing my best to keep it cool. i also admit that it has been a while since i cleaned the tank of poop since i somehow lost the bucket that i use when i siphon it out and i dont really have much else i could use. i also recently started putting in a different kind of water from the grocery store that has a slightly higher ph than the water i used before (but it isnt above 8.0) is this the start of a fungal infection?? should i be worried??

ok update: i cleaned out the poop, changed the water, got the temp down to 18 degrees, and put in water conditioner, but the spots are still there. could i be over reacting? is this just the texture of my axies skin and i just never noticed till yesterday??

Someone with more experience might want to chime in, but I believe those are skin lesions due to stress, probably because you haven't been keeping up with water changes. With cool, clean water, it should eventually go away.
