White stuff appeared in newts eyes and near its legs

Hello. I have been looking after my 2 fire bellied japaneese newts for 6 years. But a few days ago i saw that one of my newts had problems shredding. So i immidiatly quarantined it. next day a weird white stuff(fungi?) Started appearing around his eyes and near one of his legs. A few hours ago the white stuff on his eyes almost disappeared but the stuff around his legs are still intact here is a picture what should i do????? Please help.(btw im new here)



I have another question as well. My perfectly fine newt is shedding a little differantly as well. Skin comes out in circles? The one with the weird circilar skin coming out is the healty one

Well i think he was just shedding, and healed now. But his mouth seems a little big? It kight just be normal but since i dont know i will post it here, if you can answer if he is normal and can be taken out of quarantine it would be great

It seems the pet shop you bought your newts from six years ago had them incorrectly labeled as "Japanese", the pictures above are Chinese fire bellies (H.orientalis or some other species of Hypselotriton depending on who you ask). I'm surprised in that amount of time you never saw them shed in a "circle", that's pretty typical newt shedding in the two pictures on the right in your first post, no need to worry about that.

I can't say for sure because the pictures aren't very clear but something does look strange about the newt's mouth in the last three pictures.
