i clean my gravel every three days and i empty half the tank water once a week but there is this white stuff that feels slimy growing on the sides of the tank but only in the corners at the bottom...do i just need to scrub the tank? it only just appeared. it sorta looks like mould but the axies are in good health. the only reason i ask this is that someone told me that they are eggs and i found snails in my tank from the plants i bought i dopnt think they are axie eggs cause they are too young.

lulu - The "white stuff" just needs cleaned off weekly. On the day that you remove water just wipe the glass down. I use the magnet glass cleaners like the one you can see at the link below, and they work really well. http://www.marinedepot.com/md_viewItem.asp?idproduct=HG11022

Or you can use a algae mit or scraper of your choice.

Snail eggs are usually pretty easy to spot on glass. They are usually laid in masses that look like a cluster of eggs rather than a white film.

Axolotl eggs are pretty big, you will know them when you see them.
