I came home from work last night to find both my boys with a whit substance on their gills and two of their feet. I put both in a salt bath (2tsp aquarium salt in 4cups water) and then fridged them I'm separate Tupperware containers.
I just did a second bath, and tried to clean off the substance, but it is firmly attached to them. It has destroyed the gill frills on my smaller axi, and seems to have bound the toes of my bigger axi.
They live in 10gallon tank with 2 live plants and a moss ball. I do water changes (10-20%) 1 to 2 times a week. They have been eating and poopingwell up til now.
What do they have and am I treating it correctly?
Sorry the pictures are bad, and the flash adds ayellow tint to everything. (Also sorry theyre only links, my phone browser wouldn't let me attach files here)

I guess it wouldn't even let me post the link to pics, when I get home from work tonight I'll post pics from my home computer. (Or you can try replacing the stars with imageshack(dot)us)

Update: while the larger axi is kind of looking better, the smaller one is now floating upside down. I put his container at a slant in the fridge so he could touch bottom if he wants to, but Iffear he isn't going to make it :-(
Any help is appreciated.

Are your axies still quite young? 10 Gallon is quite small for 2 axies. Keep their water clean and fresh for now. If they're in tubs do 100% water changes at least once a day.
