Who is the largest of the ambystoma?

Hey everyone I am new to this page. So I figured I would ask a question, I have seen pretty big tigers and axolotls. But is it true that axolotls are the largest of the ambystoma. I know tigers get pretty long and big yet I read axolotls are the largest.

The 200 years old giant salamander in China . Maybe it's part axolotl cause it's now in their aquarium . My female axie is now 5 lb a foot long and I can't wrap my hands around her anymore.
