Hi everyone, I have been keeping various reptiles and amphibians since childhood, so I am no stranger to a planted Vivarium. I have a problem though, I would like to know if anyone has the name of a good fieldguide book and/or the name of a supplier who sells not only mosses, but liverworts, hornworts (on land type), and lichens. The Colorado climate limits me to collecting locally. I am in the Denver metro area if anyone does know of local areas/ shops. I really love the "british soldier" lichens with their vertical stalks and red caps. Here are a few example pics of what I am looking for. Thanks for any information.;)

with axolotls would I basically have to keep buying and buying new axolotls to prevent inbred breeding which costs a lot of money??

Not necessarily but if you’re wanting to continue to grow your breeding capacity then yes. Breeding axolotls isn’t a cheap hobby nor is it a get rich quick scheme. It costs a lot of money and time and deditcation

Would Chinese fire belly newts be more or less inclined towards an aquatic eft set up versus Japanese . I'm raising them and have abandoned the terrarium at about 5 months old and switched to the aquatic setups you describe. I'm wondering if I could do this as soon as they morph?
