Question: why has my Axolotl stopped eating?!

Axel, has been refusing to eat for about a week now TT_TT the filter blew up when we had an enormous storm... and the water is filthy now, i bought a new filter, but it doesnt seem to be cleaning the tank at all...the filter is made for a 100L tank (mine is only a 2 foot, so it shouldnt be 100L) will the filter clean it over a week or so?
has axel stopped eating because of the dirtyness of the water, or would the tumor on his side, finally be catching up with him? TT_TT i dont want to lose him, what can i do??

Have you been doing partial water changes? Water changes will go a long way in helping clear up the water. As for not eating, if he ate up until the filter messed up then I would certainly think it's because of the water quality. However if he quit eating before then, then I would say there is another issue at hand.
