I Currently Have A Fishpond [no Fish] That Have Salamander Larvae In It. I Would Like To Get Them Out And Remove The Pond, Then Put Them Back To Finish Growing Up. Is This Possible? And How Much Longer Will It Take For Them To Grow Up? The Parents Of Them Are Blackish With A Green Stripe Down Their Backs. Any Idea What Kind? Thanks Deb:d

Can you tell us what part of the country you live in? That might help us identify them. Most likely they'll "morph" (become terrestrial) later in the summer. Can you wait until then to remove your pond? It would be much easier on the animals do it that way.
