I was wondering what colour babies could be possible with both parents wild types. I have no idea what type the parents were or any genetics on them but I do know they were from different clutches. Please be nice I'm new to the breeding process of axies

I've only had my water babies for 6 months now but have so much love for them all

Thanks in advance
Emma

Obviously you'll get wild types. But what else if any you can't know until you have babies. If one parent is het for everything but the other parent isn't het for anything, then you'll get just wilds. If both parents are het for the same thing, then you will get some of that gene. When people say 25% will be that gene, what they really mean is each offspring has a 25% chance of having both of those genes. So say your pair are both het for mel. Each baby has a 25% chance of being mel, 50% chance of being wild and het for mel, and 25% chance of being wild and no mel. The more offspring this pair produces the closer to 25/50/25 of each type you'll get. But it will take a lot of axoltls to get there.
