I noticed the other day that one of my axies had a cloudy substance hanging off of one or two of her gills..
No curled tail..eating frozen blood worms and small earthworms fine. This morning i have noticed a small white spot at the tip of one. They just do not appear as full as the other axies does. I had heard that i need to be sure what it is before i proceed with any treatment. I have tested the water..all is well. The tank sits at right at 20c day and night. I have a very small low power filter. She does have a habit of hanging out under it and i know that the suction isn't good for them.
I did recently start feeding them outside of the tank in hopes of keeping the water quality a little better..and she is much harder to catch and that may be the stress factor?? I just want to know for sure if it is a fungus and would taking her out for a salt bath just add to her stress level? Should i try any of the approved medicines?
I added some pics but its so small that its hard to tell. But you can see the overall state of them.
