Hi,
There's an excellent article on Caudata Culture about what type of wood is safe for caudate terraria. (It's even used as a reference on the frog forum that I'm a member of.)
I have what I think are sugar maple branches, and the article says they are safe only for dry environments.
So I was wondering what exactly are wet and dry environments. Is it as simple as wet = aquarium (where the wood would be submerged) and dry = terrestrial, where the air and the soil may be moist (part of the wood may be in the moist substrate) but no part of the wood is submerged in a body of water.
Or is it more complicated than that?
Any help would be much appreciated
