Worms + vitamins

I took some reptomin pellets, crushed them, dissolved them in water and poured this "soup" into the soil where my earthworms are. Is this likely to increase the nutritiousness of the worms in any way? Would another vitamin/food used this way be more effective?

There isn't any need to dissolve the pellets. Simply placing them on the substrate where they will pick up moisture will ensure that they are consumed.
In addition, adding water in this manner can result in the substrate being too wet.

Ouch, recently I've added a little water to a worms substrate that seemed a little dry, is this a problem? or does it become a problem when it makes the substrate really wet?

They do need some moisture, so I don't think what you did will cause problems. Just a question of how much is too much.

with axolotls would I basically have to keep buying and buying new axolotls to prevent inbred breeding which costs a lot of money??

Not necessarily but if you’re wanting to continue to grow your breeding capacity then yes. Breeding axolotls isn’t a cheap hobby nor is it a get rich quick scheme. It costs a lot of money and time and deditcation

Would Chinese fire belly newts be more or less inclined towards an aquatic eft set up versus Japanese . I'm raising them and have abandoned the terrarium at about 5 months old and switched to the aquatic setups you describe. I'm wondering if I could do this as soon as they morph?
