I bought two axies on 05/03/06 one was about 12cm and the other 8cm. The smaller one always looked pale and refused to eat. twice I did coax him but he spat it out. ( worm ) I have sand in the tank and water is tested weekly and changed weekly. 20%-30% Temp is maintained around 13-19c with the aid of a home made chiller. I put the little one in the fridge several times while I have had him and this time after two days there was blood in the water looked coagulated. I changed his water and today when I checked on him there was more blood and he was dead.the bigger on which is now 15cm and eats like a pig, I put in the fridge as well ( separate ) and I found the same coagulated material only this one is green. Could someone please shed some light. Thank You

Any chance of getting a photo if anymore coagulated material appears? Sorry, can't help other than that suggestion, as someone may know what it might be.

Sorry I can't help either. The green material he coagulated, could that be food he has eaten before? If thats the case, it may not be serious at all, and it may be he just ate too much? Axies sometimes do that. Hope somebody else can help more
