Hello, I am not sure where to post this but here it is anyway : I bought a Zoo Med Micro pump 104 for my Chinese Warty Newt tank, it creates a nice gentle current, perfect! They are about $30 + but you can buy them on Ebay for a third of that price...
I think they are great and I recommend this fairly new product.

This seemed appropriate for the vivarium area of the forum, so I moved it over. Thanks, Francois.

You think that might be a good one for an axolotl tank?

Thanks Jen!

By the way, the pump is max 55 gal/hr, min 30 gal/hr, 4 Watts, 1.7 x 1.2 inches.

If it's to pump water to a filter, a waterfall feature, YES.
Regarding the use of the pump to create a current, I don't know enough about axolotls, not sure if they like a current or not... I will leave this to someone else to advise you.
