Hello. I'm new and didn't know axolotls should not be fed whole grubs. But I fed Axel and Amanda Grubs yesterday. Are they in danger? And what should I do now?

What kind of grub? Most insect larvae are fine.

Some axies have trouble digesting them unless you prick the skin of the grub, but if not they will pass them whole.

Do you mean mealworms? They are flour beetle larvae

Correct me if I'm wrong. But I think I read on hear to remove the head before feeding it to your Lotl. Especially grass hoppers and mealworms. And I would imagine anything with pincers. Btw, freaky lookin grub! I usually go for the soft body grubs. Right now my organic green beans are covered (end of year, they are done). Too bad my guys are being finicky right now.....
