DIY Chiller

Does anyone have experience or knowledge of making your own chiller?

I know a lot of reef DIYers say that the mini fridge method is not effective or worth the effort.

What about the axolotl community? Is it effective for what we need?

I haven't had any experience with a DIY chiller, but I do have a Haillea 300A for my axies. It is seriously the BEST thing I have ever bought.

I've heard the same thing about the mini fridge. However I have talked with a lady who uses a small chest freezer and it keeps her tank at 55 degrees!
