Oh gosh, I absolutely panic sometimes over my axie. Hes currently a juvenile, and hes usually so energetic, and then sometimes he just shuts down and stays completely Still, And sometimes doesnt flick his gills for minutes, which makes me panic. Has anyone had these first parent nerves? In general, hes absolutely fine, and My anxiety is for nothing.

Yes, but it's better to have that than not! The time will come when your anxiety isn't for nothing and you need to help them in some way. After you learn how to navigate each issue, the anxiety subsides.

Not necessarily but if you’re wanting to continue to grow your breeding capacity then yes. Breeding axolotls isn’t a cheap hobby nor is it a get rich quick scheme. It costs a lot of money and time and deditcation

Would Chinese fire belly newts be more or less inclined towards an aquatic eft set up versus Japanese . I'm raising them and have abandoned the terrarium at about 5 months old and switched to the aquatic setups you describe. I'm wondering if I could do this as soon as they morph?
