There have been several discussions (arguments) on facebook pages lately on the lifespan and general health of naturally morphing axolotls ( those who morph due to genetics, around 6 months of age or so).
Since I can not find much information, and since more and more morphed axolotls are popping up I figured I would get some information myself, survey style.
1. How old was your axolotl when it morphed?
2. How long did it live after morphing?
3. Male or female?
4. Any morphed siblings that you know of?
5. Pictures please!

Thanks for your time! My baby, Max, is in the pictures, 6 months when morphed, 8 months since morphing and going strong, female, no known morphed siblings.

Would Chinese fire belly newts be more or less inclined towards an aquatic eft set up versus Japanese . I'm raising them and have abandoned the terrarium at about 5 months old and switched to the aquatic setups you describe. I'm wondering if I could do this as soon as they morph?
