I gathered up a few P. brachyphona froglets for pictures a few days ago and thought some of you might like to see....

Wow they are so tiny! How abundent are they in your area? I haven't found to many frogs yet this year, just a few Spring Peepers and some unidentified species.

They're not abundant in the sense that we have them everywhere around here, but there are an awful lot in one small vernal pool. They only breed in shallow temporary pools around here and will completely ignore ponds and larger bodies of water, but the peepers and other frogs will use them.
