Aneides niger

I think I got another first on this one, captive bred Aneides niger. These were collected as sub-adults spring of 08', the eggs were deposited ~27Jun09.

I'm guessing that the photo I got from you in 2005 was the other species/subspecies of Black Salamander? And the eggs in that case were infertile?

Jen, yes the other pics I've posted have been of A.f.flavipunctatus, now A.flavipunctatus since publication this year.

I don't know about selling my soul, but I have traded some of my lifetime (and a spare bedroom, and a measuable portion of my income!). Well worth it though.

I'll post some pics of my rather simple set up.
