Well, I wanted to share a photo of Roscoe, so thought I should start myself a single thread to contain my photos and babblings into!

More to come, but check out the lovely Disco-Roscoe in his favourite blue LED again!

Shiny :)
Looks like one of those 'stone-kinda (with a light in it)' things I once had. :')

Hehe! Only Roscoe glows in that particular way under the LEDs, Chester gets a tinge, but Roscoe looks awesome!

Heres a picture of Albi:

Gorgeous, beautiful axies, and great photography! :D

Haha, it took Scott about 2 hours - Albi doesn't stay still for long at all, especially when humans are next to his tank. Everything is just so terribly exciting.

So its about time I shared with you all our newest addition to the Weird... Milton

He is the offspring of Zoezakellas Finlay and Jabba, and is just the cutest little thing ^_^

I had to collect him in Aylesbury and take him to a meeting with HP the next day, then he came on the train all the way from London to Glasgow with me. He's also been on the tube and stayed in a Travelodge, which he didn't think much of at all.

Sorry the photo isn't great, probably best viewed in small, haha!

Aylesbury? No way, that's pretty much where I'm going tomorrow. He's gorgeous. That must have been a loooong train journey, I get twitchy just doing Bristol-London.

Haha, yup, although I only got to see Morrisons car park, Zoe met me there, there wasn't much time, as I had to get back to London.

We both felt like spies or smugglers (or idiots) or something - making the exchange of goods in the car park, lol!

Have a nice day in Aylesbury, you can tell me what it's like ;)

Bristol - London is bad enough yeah. Done a LOT of UK travelling with my current contract, and been working in Swindon a lot, so I feel your pain.

Hehe, love it. I'll be about half an hour south of Aylesbury, but I had a partner there aaages ago. It's not the most exciting place. Well it was for me at the time, it wasn't a village. It had shops and buildings and everything.

LOL - sounds like a plan! Oh the glamorous lives we lead eh? I WILL come down and see you properly and meet the parents ;)

Hope all is ok hun, you are my hero for the amount of work you do!

Mewsie, is albi part GFP? :p

Nah, he is a big ol' freak of an axolotl though. He loves fast flowing water and swims non-stop all day! Have to give him extra worms cause of all the energy he uses up. I'm beginning to think he's actually a baby dolphin.

Colour-wise: He's a very dark wild type, if it wasn't for the gold rings around his eyes he looks almost melanoid in normal lighting.

That pic is adorable!

roscoe looks great under those lights. Milton is a very well travelled axie considering his/her age.

Thanks Lea, Roscoe loves his LED disco.

Not necessarily but if you’re wanting to continue to grow your breeding capacity then yes. Breeding axolotls isn’t a cheap hobby nor is it a get rich quick scheme. It costs a lot of money and time and deditcation

Would Chinese fire belly newts be more or less inclined towards an aquatic eft set up versus Japanese . I'm raising them and have abandoned the terrarium at about 5 months old and switched to the aquatic setups you describe. I'm wondering if I could do this as soon as they morph?
