Okay, I've been on the train to fetch axies again today :D (my 1st axies were from Wigan + the new guys are from just outside Manchester - I'm in Stoke-on-Trent). Don't worry, they're not all for me! :p 2 are for me, 2 are for Raziela, 2 are for John + 2 are for my next door neighbour. All are 4-5cm long + travelled well - no gill curling at all, even after a couple of sloshy moments ;)

Nice axolotls, all leucistics?

Yes, all leucistics. My favourite colour + what I was looking for originally but couldn't find any. I settled for my 2 goldens instead, who are wonderful + my wildtype was a bonus (which is great, coz she's got the most personality out of all of them)

Not necessarily but if you’re wanting to continue to grow your breeding capacity then yes. Breeding axolotls isn’t a cheap hobby nor is it a get rich quick scheme. It costs a lot of money and time and deditcation

Would Chinese fire belly newts be more or less inclined towards an aquatic eft set up versus Japanese . I'm raising them and have abandoned the terrarium at about 5 months old and switched to the aquatic setups you describe. I'm wondering if I could do this as soon as they morph?
