I was on Caudata culture looking at breeding section of mandarin salamanders has any one got any ideas how to mimic seasons to create breeding behaviours

I was on Caudata culture looking at breeding section of mandarin salamanders has any one got any ideas how to mimic seasons to create breeding behaviours

I have no experience breeding these salamanders, but I would assume that the same rules apply with them. What others do is they cool the enclosure and lower the water to simulate fall and winter months. Then after a month or two they raise the temp gradually back to the usual temperature and raise the water slowly every week er so. Thats the best answer I can come with since I have no experience and have no idea whether its succesful. Hopefully someone with experience could help
