It is a simple, very old aquarium, it is two-thirds covered. It's raining right into it and I have to skim off water after heavy rains. I feed worms, Gammarus and Daphnia,

Have you thought about drilling a hole in the glass and fitting an overflow? I have overflows on all my outdoor tanks; that way, I never have to worry about them filling up with rain and things escaping.

mr cyclone: it is a coarse moss, Young animals can crawl through. Also it is suitable for water, one season. The water isopod love it. The fine moss in the water you can find in fountains.
