My axie is a three month old baby boy. One day he started getting streaks on its legs. I didn't worry too much because the streaks were symmetrical. Now I'm a little scared because they aren't going away. They look like that axie's legs have been cut open. The axolotl is still acting normal and eating. I searched online and one suggestion might be giving it not enough nutrition and I've experimented with all types of turtle food, Repto-anything, live, and newt and salamander food. Should I be worried? Thanks.

What color is your axolotl? Leucistic? Gold?

Unfortunately without a picture, it is very hard to know what is happening. The only advice I could offer is make sure the water is kept cool and clean and feed daily, ideally live food and monitor for any deterioration.

Does your axolotl share a tank with anything else?

I have a Leucistic juvenile and when he was younger and a lot more translucent you could see the veins on the inside of his legs (a really big vein in the fold of skin from his belly to his 'hip') Maybe that is what it is?
